Contest :: Date Night

The other night Courtney was working late so I took advantage of the moment and enjoyed a nice cigar... I know, it's not something I should do, but I enjoy a nice cigar from time to time. I called up my old college roommate and talked to him about what was going on in his world and vice-versa. We also talked about how we used to set up these awesome dates for our then girlfriends (now our wives)... it got me thinking about how creative I used to be during that time in my life. I had a little notebook full of restaurants in the area that I wanted to visit with Courtney, activities that we could do together (i.e. slick track go kart racing), and other various recommendations from other guys in the dorm that were just out of your typical date night experience. Now, I understand that not every guy is "artsy-fartsy", but I know that many guys care about their significant other, but just have a hard time expressing their feelings and puting it into action. Well guys, here's your chance!!

I'm going to hold a little contest for the guys... doesn't matter if you're engaged or married for 50 years, but here's what I need from you:

1: Create a "date night" experience (by Nov. 17th) for you and your girlfriend/fiance/wife... go all out with it!

2: Email me the idea for the night (also include the title "DATE NIGHT" in the subjet line; your name; contact info; how many years married (if applicable); and name of your significant other)

3: On the night of your date take a quick picture of the two of you (doesn't have to be a professional photo... use your camera phone if you have to!) this way you can document that you actually went through with what you planned!

4: Email me the photo (email address may be found on my site... I don't post it here for SPAM reasons)

On Monday, November 19th, I will post the winning idea with your picture and hook you up with a "date night" on me... you'll stay (1 night) at the Westin hotel of your choice! *** Courtney and I absolutely love Westin hotels, and stay there whenever we get the chance, so I want the winner to have the same experience.
